Francesca Blanchard has evolved a bit since the release of her 2015 debut album deux visions (a folky bilingual homage to her bicultural upbringing). She’s moved from French-American folk to indie-pop. She’s started to dive into more self-effacing, complex explorations of the human psyche, and tapped into her acting background to more effectively illustrate both the grandiose and trivial nature of her favorite topic: Heartbreak (and what comes after). New songs and a self-imparted responsibility to have a little more fun propel Blanchard in a fresh and unpredictable direction. Francesca is currently finishing the production of her second album.

Over the past two years, Mark Daly has seen quite a bit of change in his life. From becoming a husband and a father, to his band Madalia going on hiatus, it has been both equally beautiful and challenging. Amidst a life and career crossroads and a re-evaluation of the self, Daly has had the most prolific writing period of his life in an attempt to capture all these wild life experiences as they happen. It all comes pouring out in his new solo debut, a double LP called “I’m Gonna Do It (Anyway).” The record comes out Junes 21st under Daly’s new solo moniker, his middle name, Ernest.
